- As soon as you get a color set, you can start buying Thickets (you don’t have to wait for your turn).

- Once you have 4 Thickets on all contracts in a color set, you can pay to upgrade to a Lair. Pay the Lair cost on the contract card, return all 4 Thickets to the Bank, and put a Lair on the contract.
